Registration open from 8:15am to 8.45am Transition open from 8:20am to 8.45am Race briefing for all competitors is at 8:55am Long and Medium Duathlon Courses: 9:00am start Sprint & 3/9/3 Triathlon Courses: 9:00am starting immediately after duathlon starts A second Race briefing for Short course is at 9:55am Have a Go Courses: 10am start Long and Medium Duathlon courses will start in pool area. Sprint Tri & 3/9/3 courses will start in pool at approx 9:00am with a swim first, penguin start (i.e. fastest swimmers off first). Once seeded prior to the swim start (fastest first) and you will then dive into the pool at approx. 2-3 second intervals. Your timing will start when you cross the timing mat at the swim entry. Safety is our utmost concern so please be safe when riding in groups and be wary & respectful of the other competitors. Have a Go Triathlon and Duathlon(Short Course) - basically the same as the long course and also NON-DRAFTING! We will have some of younger members in transition to help those new or less experienced members with some tips & tricks on transition set up & advice on the course. If you are not a financial member of the Manawatu Triathlon Club race fees are $20 per person. If you aren't a financial member and would like to join please come and see our friendly registration helpers and they will let you know how to join, or checkout our membership page to join online.
Sprint Triathlon: 400m swim, 19km bike (6 laps), 4.8km run 3/9/3 Triathlon: 300m swim, 9.5km bike (3 laps), 3.2km run Have a Go Triathlon: 100m swim, 6.3km bike (2 laps), 1.6km run Long Duathlon: 4.8km run, 19km bike (6 laps), 3.2km run Medium Duathlon: 3.2km run, 12.7km bike (4 laps), 1.6km run Have a Go Duathlon: 1.6km run, 6.3km bike (2 laps), 1.6km run

Linton Army Camp require all occupants of any vehicle over 18 years of age to produce their Drivers License or photo ID to gain access.
