Manawatu Triathlon Club Incorporated Online Payment Policies
(In relation to using Online payment Facility)

Refund Policy

  • Non-attendance does not qualify for a refund
  • Cancellation – if training or a match is cancelled, no refund will be given
  • Illness & injury – no refund will be made for short term illness or injury.
  • Members with a long term illness or injury (that exclude the member for the whole season) may be eligible for a refund upon receipt of a medical certificate in writing from their GP or specialist. This will be determined on a case by case basis, taking into account the number of weeks left in the season and the likelihood of replacing the member
  • Family holidays – inability to attend training or an event due to family holidays will not entitle the member to a refund
  • Voluntary withdrawal – must be submitted in writing to the membership secretary and/or Treasurer:
  • Special circumstances will be referred to the Committee for consideration.
  • Suspension -absence due to suspension as a disciplinary measure will not entitle the member to any refund
  • Clothing and merchandise – no refunds or credit will be given for merchandise or clothing purchase in the club, unless the goods are faulty.

Cancellations Policy

  • Memberships are non-refundable
  • Extenuating circumstances will be taken into consideration by the committee – due to sudden relocation; medical reasons

Services Delivery Policy

  • On payment of subs or membership fees as soon as this has been cleared through the normal banking procedures then members will have full access to their rights as Manawatu Triathlon Club or Manawatu Triathlon Academy members – eg free entry to club race events and any provided training sessions advertised as club included events.
  • There may be a fortnights delay in ensuring Tri NZ has been notified of you payments to allow to you full rights as a current TRI NZ member.
