Entry to the event is via awahuri rd rata st entrance. Registration is open from 8:15am to 8.45am Transition open from 8:15am to 8.45am Race briefing for all competitors not doing short distance, is at 8:55am Safety is our utmost concern so please be safe when riding in groups and be wary & respectful of the other competitors. MTC Champ events are NON-DRAFTING! Anyone under the age of 10 years is to be accompanied by an adult on the bike course, riding behind them. We will have some of younger members in transition to help those new or less experienced members with some tips & tricks on transition set up & advice on the course. If you are not a financial member of the Manawatu Triathlon Club race fees are $30 per Adult and $15 per school aged child. If you aren't a financial member and would like to join please come and see our friendly registration helpers and they will let you know how to join, or checkout our membership page to join online.
Long Duathlon: 5.4km Run (2 long), 16.2km Bike (6 long), 2.7km Run (1 long) Medium Duathlon: 2.7km Run (1 long), 10.8km Bike (4 long), 2.7km Run (1 long) Short Duathlon: 1.2km Run (1 short), 5.4km Bike (2 long), 1.2km Run (1 short)
