In response to the government's latest announcement on COVID-19 where the current alert level asks all New Zealanders to limit contact and cancel gatherings, we have decided to cancel our next 2 triathlon events planned for April and May.
We feel that this is the most socially responsible move to make to safeguard the health of everyone in our community.
We will take advice from both the Ministry of Health and Triathlon New Zealand before we make any decisions on resumption of events.
As our April event was destined to be our Club Championships, the Committee will also need to make some decisions around this event and the series trophies. When we've made these decisions we will communicate this via Facebook, our website and e-mail. Please be patient as we look for these answers.
